Weekly Homework Assignment Due Dates:
January 22nd & 29th
February 5th, 12th, & 19th
March 5th, 12th, & 26th
April 2nd, 9th, & 23rd
April 9th assignment cancelled due to STAAR testing.
May 7th & 14th
$10.00 Food Lab User Fee - If you have not yet paid your fee, please pay through Skyward immediately.

* Sewing Project Materials: Were due in class Tuesday, January 22nd. If your student has not yet brought in their materials, please do so immediately.
Sewing Unit Start date: After Spring Break
Students are to purchase Fabric, a Small Spool of Matching Thread & 1" Elastic.
Places to shop include: Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabric, Wal-Mart & other specialty fabric stores.
Check store websites for coupons!
Please do not purchase heavy fleece or knit fabrics. If it stretches, do not buy it. Stick to cotton blends!
You can find fabric information on the end of the fabric bolt or ask store assistant.
Students should accompany parents to the fabric store.
Patterns will be provided.
How much Fabric to buy:
60 inch wide fabric = 1 3/4 yards
or
45 inch fabric = 2 5/8 yards
Students 5'5" or taller should purchase
60" wide fabric = 2 yards
45" wide fabric = 3 yards
Notions to purchase: 1 small spool of matching Polyester Thread. Do not purchase sulky or glittery threads.
